A discussion with a neighbour regarding a job.

– So, have you found a job?

– No, not yet.

– It’s true that it’s not easy right now with the economic crisis

– Yes, well, we shouldn’t complain too much. It’s even worse in other places.

– Yes, but even still in my day everybodt worked. What kind of work are you looking for?

– Construction work. I’ve been doing construction painting for the past five years, so if you know anyone who’s looking for a good painter let me know.

– Mr Bouc told me, and rightly so, that the youth are unemployed but that they don’t want to work. He’s looking for someone right now, but not a painter. You’ll have to go see him if you’re interested.

– Of course I’m interested! Where can I find him?

– He’s at the construction site, go directly there to see him. He takes his break between noon and two.

– At the construction site near the station?

– Yes, yes! But keep it to yourself; he’s a difficult character…, Mr Bouc..

– Don’t worry about it, I’m used to it. In any case, thanks for the info. If this works out, I’m taking you out to the restaurant!

– Come on ! This is going to be the talk of the neighborhood

– Good day !

– Good day !
